In the interest of public safety, our physical locations will remain closed to the public until further notice. Library administrators are meeting regularly to evaluate our reopening plans and ensure that the welfare of customers and staff remain at the forefront of our plans to serve the community during this time.

Safety Measures:

For your safety and ours, we are…
  • Limiting in-person services to locations with Pick-up windows.
  • Requiring staff to wear face masks or cloth coverings.
  • Regularly cleaning our facilities and hard surfaces including tabletops, door handles, etc. based on CDC recommendations.
  • Isolating all returned materials for a minimum of 72 hours prior to recirculating them into the collection.

We also ask that you…
  • Wash your hands regularly and/or use hand sanitizer prior to your visit.
  • Stay home if you are feeling unwell.
  • Stay in your vehicle so that we can continue to practice social distancing.
  • Call ahead if you need reasonable accommodations or one-on-one assistance.
  • Return items to our exterior book drops to limit handling.

We will be sure to keep customers informed of any updates. Please continue to check RichlandLibrary.com as well as our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts for the latest library news; trusted resources; and digital entertainment and educational recommendations.
